Bob’s Kitchen – Visual Identity & Brand Storytelling

Crafting a British bistro brand in the heart of Budapest

  • Bob’s Kitchen is an authentic British bistro in Budapest, offering modern takes on classic British comfort food. It caters to expats seeking a taste of home, locals looking for something new, and tourists eager to explore British dining culture.

  • The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity and content system that positioned Bob’s Kitchen as both authentic and contemporary. Deliverables included a full brand guide, graphic design, photography, and video content to strengthen storytelling and unify the brand across digital and in-house touchpoints.

  • The refreshed brand identity was rolled out through social media content, menus, and in-venue visuals. The British Legends campaign introduced iconic dishes like the Full English Breakfast and Haggis with bold, story-driven graphics. Content pillars were designed to balance food, drink, brand personality, and British heritage.

  • Brand Guide: Defined brand purpose, personality, tagline, tone of voice, colour palette, and typography, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

Graphic Design: Developed the British Legends series to spotlight cultural icons while tying them into the brand narrative.

Photography: Directed and captured content aligned with the brand’s visual guidelines — from warm, editorial-style interiors to styled shots of signature dishes and drinks.

Video Content: Produced short-form videos for digital platforms to showcase atmosphere, menu highlights, and brand personality.

  • Clear Brand Identity: A unified visual language and tone that highlights authenticity and British charm.

Content Toolkit: Photography, graphics, and video assets created a scalable foundation for ongoing marketing.

Enhanced Storytelling: Menu classics and British culture reintroduced in engaging, shareable formats.

Improved Recognition: Strengthened Bob’s Kitchen’s positioning as both a dining destination and a cultural experience.
