Hi, I’m Flora, the founder of Velora Studio.
My background brings together Psychology and Digital Marketing. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, where I specialized in social psychology and wrote my thesis on how our basic needs — autonomy, relatedness, and competence — influence purchasing behavior. That work gave me a strong foundation in research, data analysis, and consumer insights.
Wanting to combine this with the business side of branding, I continued at the University of Amsterdam with a Master of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Digital Marketing. There, I explored topics like digital strategy, consumer analytics, and online brand management, and wrote my thesis on the impact of human versus AI influencers in luxury and non-luxury brand campaigns. This research connected my psychology background with the fast-evolving landscape of digital marketing, giving me a unique lens on how people and technology intersect in brand storytelling.
Alongside my studies, I worked in communications at Ericsson, where I gained experience in how messaging and strategy function inside a global organization. I also worked as a UGC creator, producing content that sharpened my eye for digital storytelling and gave me direct insight into what resonates with audiences online.
Through Velora Studio, I’ve brought all of this into practice. I’ve helped boutique hotels grow visibility and bookings, built brand identities from scratch, repositioned tech and lifestyle brands with fresh narratives, led influencer campaigns that delivered meaningful engagement, and even applied advanced analytics to guide social media strategies for global brands.
What ties it all together is a simple philosophy: brands succeed when they know who they are, who they serve, and how to connect in ways that feel authentic. Velora represents my commitment to delivering marketing that blends strategy, creativity, and a personal touch.
